Buckley’s College Essay Writing Workshop
Every August, Buckley hosts its College Essay Writing Workshop for all incoming seniors. For two full days before their annual Outdoor Education trip, seniors work on a draft of their primary essay. Buckley English teachers, college counselors, and an admission rep from a local college or university weigh in. After receiving feedback on content, mechanics, syntax, relevance, and theme, seniors leave with a finished or near-finished product.
